Job Title: Social Media Graphic Designer (Junior)
Head of Design
We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Graphic Designer with a strong background in social media design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience creating engaging visuals across various social media platforms, with a focus on Canva for creating reusable templates for Content Creators.
You will collaborate with clients and content creators to understand their brand identity and create diverse designs that elevate their current branding.
Your role will also involve supporting our internal teams with various design projects across different departments, ensuring consistency in brand representation and design quality.
Design visually appealing and on-brand graphics for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Understand the YouTube ecosystem and how design impacts content performance, particularly in thumbnails and branding.
Utilize Canva to create customizable templates for Content Creators, ensuring consistency and efficiency in content creation.
Video editing skills for creating short clips or videos would be advantageous.
Proficiently use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for photo editing, creating graphics, and working with vector formats.
Knowledge of additional software such as Figma for UI/UX design tasks, Rive for animations and interactivity, is a plus.
Experience as a Graphic Designer with a focus on social media design.
Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Familiarity with additional software such as Figma, Rive, and video editing tools.
Ideally, understand the YouTube ecosystem and SEO optimization.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
A portfolio showcasing previous work in social media design and Canva templates is required.
Stay updated on design trends, social media algorithms, and SEO best practices to continually improve design strategies and effectiveness.
