Are you a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for risk management? Join a top tier financial services company as a Risk Analyst, where you'll collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Operational Risk to fortify their risk monitoring and mitigation efforts across the organization.
Spearhead the coordination and analysis of the risk management reporting information, providing invaluable insights to senior management, Risk Committees, and the Board.
Manage the coordination of the group's risk incident and breach reporting processes, ensuring timely escalation and comprehensive review of risk incidents and breaches.
Administer and develop the risk management and management information reporting systems, overseeing user profiles, access, design, and supplier management.
Assist the Risk Business Partners and Head of Operational Risk in a diverse array of projects and business initiatives.
Support business units in conducting risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) and 1st line control testing reviews, fostering a culture of risk awareness and mitigation.
Conduct daily reviews of the firm's counterparty risk exposure reporting and mark-to-market calculations, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Aid in the review of supplier GDPR due diligence checks, maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements.
Previous experience in assessing and managing business and operational risk within financial or professional services is advantageous.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to initiate and lead discussions with business leaders and colleagues.
A level of technological proficiency and familiarity with risk management systems is preferred.
Analytical mindset with a passion for data analysis, capable of presenting recommendations and conclusions concisely.
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in City of London office)
