To participate in the level 1 bleep rota for the stroke thrombolysis service.
To be accountable for the assessment of care needs: the development, delivery and evaluation of nursing care for a named group of patients.
To act as an expert resource on clinical practice and take a supporting role in the supervision of staff.
To evaluate current clinical practice and, through audit, lead a changing setting, maintaining and monitoring standards relating to clinical care delivery.
To undertake appropriate enhanced roles, following the necessary training, e.g. Stroke, Genera l Medicine modules
Evidence of post registration experience in acute Stroke Medicine.
Broad knowledge base including stroke medicine and an ability to demonstrate an interest and enthusiasm for stroke care.
