Painters (Temporary)

Manpower is recruiting Painters and Decorators on behalf of our public sector client, the NHS.

Temporary

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7.Hourly rate: £12.You will be responsible for maintaining, painting and decorating the building infrastructure.

You will work in compliance with maintenance policies and procedures ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for all. This is a multi skilled role involving various trade duties.

Interpret and work from instructions drawings and specifications for painting and decorating without supervision.
ladders, scaffolding and mechanical platforms as required
Prepare surfaces for painting and cleaning.
Assist with glazing tasks.
Assist with various building tasks.
Work alone in different areas.
Work in various conditions including confined spaces and hot environments
Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
Completion of a structured training program/apprenticeship in painting/decorating
BTEC/HNC Level in Building Services or equivalent experience
3+ years post apprenticeship in maintenance,
Working on a wide range of building services.

Extensive construction knowledge
Working knowledge of relevant statutory regulations, policies and procedures.Weekly pay
