As the Planning and Logistics Team Leader, you will adeptly handle escalations, ensuring the Customer Relations team receives timely responses. Your role is critical in managing the allocation and shortage process in collaboration with Customer Relations and Sales, guaranteeing the department's actions are aligned with customer needs. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and review site logistics supply, demand against capacity, and stock policies.
- Appraise and coach the Logistics day team, fostering professional development.
- Analyse stock levels, align production with sales forecasts, and produce monthly stock reports.
- Devise and implement system and process improvements to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP processes in Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, and Materials Management.
- Proficiency in MS Office packages.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with site manufacturing, processes, products, tollers, and suppliers.
- Excellent communication skills.
