To work as part of a team analysing the company's products and raw materials to ensure compliance with
Operating a range of analytical equipment within the company's laboratories on a shift basis. entering and certification of data.
Carry out a range of testing following Safety and Quality procedures on a range Super Alloys.
* Ensure testing equipment is maintained and calibrated prior to use.
* Ensure testing is carried out in accordance with the relevant procedure/specification.
* Participate in quality audits as required.
* Develop personal competence by internal and external training as required.
* Metallurgy/Materials Science, Science or Chemistry based based qualification e.g. Candidates without these qualifications but who can demonstrate relevant industrial knowledge and
Computer literate.
O2 analysis by combustion, residual analysis by Atomic Absorption.
* Working in a UKAS/NADCAP laboratory-based environment
* Shift Working - 4 on 4 off
* Positive attitude to safety & quality.
The position also includes a bonus of up £3,929 per annum (£982 per quarter) OTE £44,236
