Blue Legal are delighted to announce that we have partnered with an award-winning national law firm to recruit a Business Development Executive for their Edinburgh or Glasgow office. The role-holder will support the delivery of business development and marketing initiatives for the firm’s Property and Infrastructure division.
Provide both strategic and practical BD support to the firm’s Property and Infrastructure practice and the Government & Public sector.
• Undertake market, sector and client research and analysis to support key clients, events, tender responses, prospect identification and other BD activities.
• Assist the BD Manager with the delivery of activities required under BD plans
• Working together with lead partners to develop and implement market-specific BD strategies and plans for the relevant sectors, in line with the firm’s strategic priorities.
• Mentoring and supporting the ongoing development of lawyers’ BD knowledge and skills.
• Build relationships with lawyers and other colleagues as required to execute BD activities and plans.
At least two years’ experience in a BD or marketing role ideally within professional services.
• Excellent competency and skills using MS office packages.
Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered. Blue Legal offers the services of an employment agency for permanent work and an employment business for temporary work.
