Are you a seasoned geophysical engineer passionate about offshore wind? We're looking for a Principal Geophysical Engineer to lead our geophysical operations in this dynamic sector. Join us and help shape the future of offshore wind energy.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
Lead and mentor a team of geophysical engineers and technicians.
Develop best practices for geophysical data acquisition, processing, and interpretation.
Project Planning & Execution:
Oversee geophysical surveys, ensuring compliance with standards and environmental guidelines.
Coordinate with external contractors for timely and accurate survey services.
Data Analysis & Interpretation:
Analyse geophysical data to assess seabed conditions for foundation design and cable routing.
Utilize advanced software to generate detailed reports and visualizations.
Technical Expertise & Innovation:
Stay updated on geophysical technologies and methodologies.
Conduct technical reviews and audits of survey methodologies and deliverables.
Risk Management & Problem Solving:
Identify and mitigate risks in geophysical operations.
Troubleshoot technical issues during survey operations and data processing.
Qualifications:
~ Bachelor’s in Geophysics, Geology, Oceanography, or related field. Master’s or Ph.D. preferred.

Experience:
~10+ years in geophysical engineering, with significant offshore wind experience.
~ Proven track record in managing large-scale geophysical surveys and leading teams.
