Job Description

In this position you will be responsible for building, implementing, and leading the Sweaty Betty Global Partner Business strategy through strong visionary & operational leadership. You will build and bring together existing Wholesale, Marketplace, 3P & Distributor teams to create a holistic high performing Global Partner Business team to deliver high growth expectations on annual net revenue and business profit budget. You will be a dynamic, collaborative & visible leader of the Sweaty Betty Global Partner Business & commercial channel both internally and externally, using this to influence to drive forward the Sweaty Betty Global Partner Business operation and contribution. What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Build strategy and the vision to transform the Sweaty Betty partner business by designing and implementing a 3-year Wholesale, Marketplace, Distributor & Partnerships commercial plan that meets the Sweaty Betty overarching business strategy – ‘become truly global’, including the org design that supports this transformation.
  • Lead, manage & coach the Sweaty Betty Wholesale, Marketplace & Partnerships EMEA/North America/APAC team to deliver the sales and profit budget through strategy implementation, commercial management of key accounts & negotiations, creating a culture focused on results & action orientation.
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to achieve short and long-term goals. Areas include sales, profit, product mix, distribution, merchandising, pricing, trade marketing and contractual agreements
  • Accountable for the international 3P strategy and roll out.

Relationships/Key stakeholders

  • Nurture excellent relationships with our existing and potential retailers to ensure Sweaty Betty is viewed as a desired and preferred partner to work with – including the planning and execution of a wholesale and partnership conference.
  • Drive continuous improvement in our processes by identifying current and future gaps and opportunities, on-boarding other functions and the Leadership Team to support the financial and operational goals of the Wholesale, Marketplace & Partnerships channel.
  • Partner with internal business functions to lead, build, and execute the strategy and plans of the Wholesale, Marketplace & Partnerships Team.
  • Work in partnership with channel leads for DTC Digital and Buying & Planning to forge an international growth plan; right country, right channel, right model .
  • Working in collaboration with Finance, Product, Brand & Marketing to build/support partners sales strategy, ranging process & marketing plan
  • Build strong and active relationships with the Product teams to influence range needs as well as commercial planning.

Commercial

  • Be responsible and accountable for the Wholesale, Marketplace & Partnerships channel P&Ls by delivering top line objectives and flawless execution of activation programmes to drive commercial success.
  • Deliver market leading trade executions, to maximise brand awareness, conversion and repeat purchase.
  • Ensure strong instore availability across Wholesale, Marketplace & Partnerships supplier base and drive an accurate forward forecasting view.
  • Negotiate with wholesale and concessionary partners to maximise marketing opportunities.
  • Drive on time & in full delivery of the Wholesale Order Book.

Must Haves

  • Experience of international strategic partner business (Wholesale, Partnerships, Distributors) in EMEA, North America essential, APAC desirable.
  • Previous proven experience of relationships with key/strategic partners (WS, 3P, Franchise, Distributors).
  • Proven successful track record and appetite for working within businesses undergoing transformation.
  • Experience leading and developing high performing teams in matrixed environments.
  • Confidence in leading complex negotiations across multiple Wholesale, Marketplace & Partnerships fulfilment models.
  • Experience building, presenting and ownership of budgets.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to manage a high calibre team and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Commercial flair to achieve the sales and profit plan.
  • Excellent influencing skills and ability to build sincere long-term relationships internally and externally with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills; timely, clear and concise.
  • Can build vision and has ability to contribute to developing the strategy, and communicating plans to execute the strategy.
