Ace Hire Recruits is a reputable employment agency specialising in legal staffing solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Probate Solicitor to join our client's prestigious law firm. As a Probate Solicitor, you will play a critical role in helping clients manage the legal process of administering estates after someone has passed away. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Solicitor looking to further their career in Probate law.
Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of probate matters from start to finish
Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on matters relating to probate and estate administration
Prepare and review legal documents, including wills, power of attorney, and probate applications
Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in the probate process
Accurately maintain files and records related to probate cases
Attend court hearings and mediations on behalf of clients when necessary
Keep up-to-date with changes in probate law and share knowledge with colleagues
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year experience in probate law
Strong knowledge of probate law, estate administration, and inheritance tax
Experience managing a caseload of probate matters independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
Attention to detail and ability to work with complex legal documents
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Sound judgement and analytical thinking
Professional and ethical conduct
Membership with the Law Society and/or other relevant professional bodies is preferred
Experience in private client law
