2515 – Cybersecurity Project Manager – Aberdeen, London or Remote
We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager with a strong background in cybersecurity and project management to lead and manage cybersecurity projects. You’ll have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in large enterprise settings. Ideally, you’ll be able to work onsite in Aberdeen or London (Hybrid working), however we will also consider remote working for the right candidate. Occasional travel within the UK and Europe will be required as part of this role.

Under minimal direction, lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for cybersecurity projects, following the agreed project delivery framework
Facilitate needs assessments and the development of recommended project control solutions to be used for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects through integration of various Project Management tools and project delivery frameworks
Determine, monitor, and review all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, resourcing requirements, and risks
Contribute to project estimation process for budget and resourcing
Plan, schedule, monitor, and report on activities related to the project, including subcontractor monitoring
Ensure adherence to regulatory and company standards and requirements
Control project requirements, scope, budget, resourcing and change management risks and issues
Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria
Assists in the training of the project team on application of the procedures
Maintains awareness on emerging technologies and Project Management techniques
Develop project control and reporting procedures and manages changes in operational plan
Undertake status review meetings among project team members and stakeholders and escalate risks and issues to the Programme Manager
Ensure project documents are complete, current and appropriately stored
Work with management on project proposals, contracts, estimates, and schedules
Coach and advise team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues

Experience of delivering security solutions and services focused projects with a good understanding of security principles and Cyber risks.
Understanding of common cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., Familiarity of network security, cloud security, and systems architecture, current and upcoming Cyber compliance requirements (e.g., Strong experience of planning and managing multiple projects in an IT infrastructure or application environment
Ability to develop projects and deliver them against financial and resource constraints
Good project planning and execution skills
Proven track record with the use of reporting tools to monitor project activities and analyse project performance
Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability develop and explain the project goals and objectives to the project team and stakeholders
Good business acumen, including industry and domain-specific knowledge of the organisation and its business units. Familiarity with industry trends and innovation, and how other organisations are using them to drive digital business
Basic understanding of Project Online
Strong knowledge of project management principles including Waterfall or Agile
Degree in Cybersecurity, CISSP certification or similar would be highly beneficial
Qualifications in one of the following project delivery methodology or frameworks and experience of others, such as: PMI Standards, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Managing Successful programmes (MSP) or equivalent
Previous experience within the Oil & Gas sector would be advantageous
Previous Integration project experience beneficial
