ROLE: Commercial Plumber LOCATION: Mobile role covering Kent and surrounding areas SALARY: £37,000 You will be carrying out mainly PPM and Reactive maintenance plumbing work within a range of commercial environments including football stadiums, Leisure facilities, Commercial office space and retail outlets. You would of ideally worked as a commercial plumber for 2 years and be able to hit the ground running. This is a customer facing role so the ability to speak to people at all levels would be an advantage. Duties:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in commercial buildings, to relevant codes.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with plant and equipment.
  • Read and interpret drawings, and other specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Write detailed work reports upon the completion of each job, outlining the work performed, challenges encountered, and any recommendations for future maintenance, repair and life cycling.
  • Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders, providing updates and feedback as necessary.
  • Generate accurate quotes for additional works, considering labour, materials, and other resources.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a commercial plumber.
  • Sound knowledge of general building services, commercial heating, cooling, domestic water plant and equipment, including the ability to identify such equipment in a plant room setting.
  • Strong understanding of building services and systems.
  • Excellent punctuality and reliability, smart, clean appearance
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to write comprehensive work reports and communicate effectively with management and team members.
  • Capable of generating and presenting detailed quotes for potential additional works.
