Storeperson Temp - Perm Contract Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum - experience dependent Monday - Friday 07:30-16:30 Newtown Travail Employment Group are excited to announce that we are looking for a Storeperson to join our client's dynamic team in Newtown. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in stock control and warehousing who is eager to contribute to a thriving and innovative company. Key Responsibilities: Goods In: Check parts for quantity and quality, book them into the ERP system, and replenish part bins. Goods Out: Accurately book out and ship parts for sales orders. Kit Issuing: Ensure kits are picked accurately and in a timely manner, following established procedures. ERP System Maintenance: Manage stock control within the ERP system and keep it up to date. Stock Control: Monitor stock levels, maintain safety stock levels, and promptly notify the purchasing team of any shortages. Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the stores area clean and organised. Stock Takes: Conduct and support regular stock takes. Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement improvements in stock control processes. Candidate Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in stock control, warehousing, and forklift driving. A familiarity with ERP systems is desirable. Computer Literacy: Strong computer skills are essential. Understanding of Stock Control: A solid grasp of stock control principles and their importance to the business. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organisational Skills: Highly organised, efficient, and able to prioritise workloads.
