Position Overview: As an Investment Risk & Performance Senior Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the risk management and performance analysis functions of our premier closed-end fund. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous risk assessments, monitoring portfolio performance, and providing valuable insights to senior management and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a renowned investment trust and make a meaningful impact on the organization's performance. Conduct thorough risk analysis of the fund's investment portfolio, including asset allocation, concentration risk, and liquidity risk.
Monitor portfolio performance and identify key drivers of returns, including attribution analysis and benchmark comparisons.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to optimize risk-adjusted returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with investment teams, portfolio managers, and external vendors to gather data and perform in-depth analysis.
Prepare and present reports to senior management and board members, highlighting key risk metrics and performance indicators.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or FRM designation preferred.
Proven experience in investment risk management and performance analysis within the closed-end fund or investment trust industry.
Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and performance measurement techniques.
Familiarity with industry-standard risk analytics tools and platforms.
