We are looking for a seasoned Silicon Verification Engineer to join our team working on cutting-edge silicon chip architecture for a large tech enterprise. This role focuses on hardware modeling in C/C++, with responsibilities including updating C models and solving open-ended technical challenges. You’ll have the autonomy to make key decisions on how best to approach tasks while collaborating with other team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and develop C models to align with existing models, ensuring consistency across projects.
  • Perform C/C++ bit-exact modeling and architectural testing of these models.
  • Conduct architectural assessments of model behavior, including hardware tradeoffs.
  • Collaborate in a Linux environment for model development (including some non-compression IP).
  • Engage in open-ended problem-solving, with freedom to determine the best path forward.
  • Optional involvement in MATLAB for model assessments and testing.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in silicon architecture or related fields.
  • Strong expertise in C/C++ programming (recent hands-on experience required).
  • Proficiency working in Linux and Windows environments (recent experience required).
  • 4+ years of experience in hardware modeling, with knowledge of exact modeling and architectural tradeoffs.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
