Role Overview As a Commercial Coordinator, you will play a key supporting role in the day-to-day operations of the commercial function across the group. Working closely with the Commercial Director and wider team, you will help coordinate supplier and subcontractor PSL and account management activities, maintain commercial records and data, and support key processes that ensure cost control, compliance, and strong supplier relationships. This is a hands-on, operational role ideal for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - particularly within the electrical services or construction sector. Key Responsibilities Sub-Contractor & Supplier Coordination Maintain and update the approved supplier and subcontractor listings. Support with reviewing and updating rate cards and pricing information. Assist in validating and checking charges before processing for payment. Track and monitor subcontractor and agency worker activity. Liaise with suppliers to gather documentation and resolve queries. Commercial Process Support Coordinate the application and order process, maintaining accurate records. Coordinate and issue commercial certificates and reports. Support internal teams with commercial queries and documentation. Monitor cost and risk-related data and escalate issues where needed. Wholesaler Account Support Coordinate communications with wholesalers and maintain account records. Schedule and support quarterly review meetings and follow-up actions. Track pricing changes and assist with recommendations to manage cost increases. Maintain the preferred supplier list and help to monitor supplier performance. Skills And Experience Minimum of 2-4 years as a Commercial or Procurement Coordinator. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Customer and commercially focused with strong attention to detail Experience with Commercial Applications, Procurement and Finance processes Experience with supplier T&Cs, SLAs and supporting service level improvements Proficient with Microsoft Office, including excellent Excel skills Flexible approach, ability to solve problems, and a strong team member Experience with sub-contractor and wholesaler liaison and management Degree qualified in a relevant subject or equivalent experience Relevant industry experience within construction or electrical services Benefits Pension scheme Company van, fuel card, and uniform provided 23 days annual leave + bank holidays (option to buy/sell 3 days) Ongoing training and development Group Life Insurance Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Virtual GP Appointments & Online Physio Pension scheme
