Role Overview: As the Head of Religious Studies, you will play a pivotal role in delivering highly effective lessons, fostering high levels of achievement, and promoting good behavior within the Religious Studies curriculum across the age range. This is an opportunity to lead and inspire both students and colleagues in the pursuit of academic excellence and personal growth.
Lead the provision of the Religious Studies curriculum, ensuring alignment with the school's educational objectives and promoting a culture of high expectations.
Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues within the Religious Studies department, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Monitor and assess student progress, implementing effective strategies to support individuals in achieving their academic goals.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in Religious Studies or a related field.
Proven experience in teaching Religious Studies at the secondary level, with a track record of delivering highly effective lessons and achieving positive outcomes for students.
Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for staying abreast of developments in the field of Religious Studies education.
