  • Install, maintain, and service a range of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV systems, and access control systems.
  • Conduct fault finding, repairs, and upgrades to fire and security systems.
  • Carry out regular testing and inspections, ensuring compliance with current standards and legislation (e.g., BS5839).
  • Provide excellent customer service, offering clear guidance and advice to clients.
  • Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements in fire and security systems.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Good understanding of BS5839 and other relevant industry standards.
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve under pressure.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving license – Maximum 6 points
Desirable:
  • Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., FIA, BAFE, or equivalent)
  • Experience with advanced security technologies, including IP-based systems.
  • ECS/CSCS card or equivalent.
  • Electrical qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
