Secondary English Teacher - Iver

Supply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Secondary, Primary and SEN education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of schools across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. We are currently looking to recruit qualified English teachers, and will happily accept applications from ECTs.

Your role as a Secondary English teacher would be filling positions on a supply basis in secondary schools in Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, ensuring that pupils receive a consistently high standard of education. You will need excellent classroom management skills and a thorough knowledge of the current National Curriculum. You will encourage positive pupil development and monitor pupil s progression. As well as covering English, there may be some general cover required.

This is a great opportunity to be introduced to a range of secondary schools across the Berkshire area and potentially gain a long-term role. This is also an opportunity for a casual and flexible position, where you have full control of when you want to work.

What you ll need to succeed

  • Experience teaching in a secondary school
  • Energetic and positive attitude
  • QTS
  • EWC registration or willing to apply
  • Current DBS registered on the update system or willing to apply
