I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive Manufacturer based in Surrey who are seeking a Mechanisms Project Engineer to join their team.

Essential Criteria:

  • Min 1 year experience in Automotive, Interiors or Mechanisms.
  • Degree or equivalent in Automotive or Mechanical engineering discipline (would consider no degree with 3+ years of experience in interiors, mechanisms or cockpits)
  • Experienced and comfortable in customer facing environment.
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
  • Skilled in all areas of Microsoft office (excel etc)
  • Able to work unsupervised and proactively in a flexible and dynamic environment.

Nice to Have Criteria:

  • Experience using CAD visualisation software packages
  • Client experience
  • Experience in vents, HVACs, armrests or sliding mechanisms.
  • Experience in Cockpits.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on rare occasions.
  • Experience working with customers and suppliers from different parts of the world (namely China).
