Shift pattern: 12 Hour Shifts 2 days 2 nights 4 off
We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our 24/7 Swindon Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Site. The Maintenance Engineer will deliver effective PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and breakdown repairs supporting the daily operation to ensure the reliable supply of services to production, whilst always striving for opportunities to deliver enhanced plant improvements through innovative ideas and modifications.
Catalent Pharma Solutions Swindon is the home of the Zydis Technology. The Zydis® ODT (orally dissolving tablet) fast-dissolve formulation, is a unique, freeze-dried oral solid dosage form that disperses almost instantly in the mouth – no water required. Carry out planned maintenance on production machinery in line with current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Carryout root cause analysis of plant downtime as required, embedding a robust improvement philosophy within the engineering team.
Provide detailed handovers at the end of each shift when required.
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards at all times.
Deliver greater plant reliability through effective engineering practices, always aiming for sustainable greater uptime and reliability of plant and equipment through all/any engineering activities carried out.
Full time served engineering apprenticeship, or equivalent qualifications- Required
Electrical / Mechanical engineer with extensive post apprenticeship experience in an Engineering role.
Electrical Engineering experience - highly advantageous
Production Engineering experience
