COMMUNITY: The post holders will work alongside colleagues to support the 7 day service in range of in and out patient areas plus community locations. As a Senior Physiotherapist you will deliver the assessment and treatment of patients who present within acute care, delivering evidence based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well-being and optimise independent functioning as far as reasonably possible in all areas of life


You will be expected to be an active member of the multi-disciplinary team and build clinical networks working in partnership with other agencies to identify and address the immediate need.
This is a Senior Physiotherapist role will align with a range Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams in multidisciplinary ward teams to facilitate early discharge.


These are ideal posts for Band 5 Physiotherapists who have post-graduate experience and feel ready for the opportunity of the challenge of a senior position in a large, busy, acute hospital Trust. For the right candidate(s) we would consider Band 5 to 6 development roles.


Support will be provided to enhance operational management skills and the post holder will contribute to service planning, development and teaching. As a Senior Physiotherapist, the post holder will be a role model for their team and pride themselves on delivering high quality care and motivate their team to do the same.


Being a driver, or having demonstrable means of independently travelling to patient's residences in the community, is essential in this post due to the community aspect of the rotation. Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy i.e. degree
