Position: Solution Architect / Simphony Architect

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Dunstable, UK (Hybrid)

We are seeking a highly skilled “Solution Architect – Hospitality/Retail Systems” – focusing on e2e Solution Architecting for a Large Programme initiative to integrate POS system (Simphony) with Finance, HR (Ceredian DayForce), Inventory Mgmt and PMS – Opera System. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution architecture, integration design, and a deep understanding of the hospitality/retail industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop the overall solution architecture for large Hospitality/Retail Programmes including POS (Simphony/other), Finance, HR , PMS (Opera)

- Responsible for creating Outline Specification Document (OSD), HLD & LLD.

- Responsible to design Transition Architecture (as an intermediary state) when both old and new systems will coexist in different properties.

- Create detailed technical specifications, Data flow/Data mapping and integration plans for Simphony with PMS, HR System, Inventory Mgmt and Finance

- Collaborate with IT teams, hotel operations, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration

- Develop and maintain system documentation, including architecture diagrams and process flows

- Provide expert guidance on best practices for Simphony configuration and customization

- Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solution designs

- Experience in inventory mgmt. solutions and integrating them with Simphony

Skills

- Proficiency in Simphony/POS architecture and related technologies

- Strong knowledge of API integrations, and E2E data flow design

- Familiarity with building scalable system design

- Experience in building Solution document, Integration design documents and taking to Architecture board for review

- Understanding of hospitality industry standards and compliance requirements
