Hays education are proudly working in partnership with an OFSTED rated 'GOOD' school in Runcorn who are on the lookout for a PPA cover teacher to join their team for the 2024/2025 academic year starting September on a long term basis for 3 days per week.
Your new role
Your new role is vital in maintaining continuity for pupils' learning and ensuring that teachers have the time they need to fulfil their planning, preparation and assessment duties effectively. As a PPA cover teacher you will be responsible for ;

  • Delivering engaging preplanned lessons provided by the class teacher
  • To ensure effective teaching of all pupils both inside and outside the classroom
  • Mark and monitor pupils' work and set targets for progress
  • To promote good behaviour and discipline within the policies and procedures of the school
  • Communicating effectively with the class teachers to ensure continuity and progression
What you’ll need to succeedTo be considered for this role you will need to have:Qualified teacher status.Experience of delivering up-to-date curriculum.Be able to flexbly work across all key stagesAn up-to-date DBS or willingness to get oneThe ability to provide an inspiring, engaging and safe learning environment.
