If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you Our client, a well-known player in the residential sector, seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional projects. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all commercial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring cost control and adherence to budget
  • Lead and drive procurement tasks independently, including ordering materials, appointing subcontractors, and managing variations
  • Prepare and manage monthly valuations for clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting
  • Contribute to forming initial budgets and specifications
  • Monitor site performance against plans, budgets, and financial targets
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams (sales, land, construction, architects) and external stakeholders
  • Oversee monthly bank drawdown figures and maintain clear financial communication
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Proven track record of success in a similar role, within the residential sector
  • Strong understanding of commercial aspects of construction projects, including procurement, subcontract management, and cost control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Experience using relevant software (e.g., Eque 2 or similar land appraisal & procurement software) is a plus.
