Senior Structural Engineer
Salary £45-£55K (depending on experience) + benefits
My client is a well- established civil and structural engineering firm with offices based in Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. They are actively seeking an enthusiastic and talented Senior Structural Engineer to join their design team.
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll play a key role in delivering interesting projects across the commercial, residential, industrial, health, hospitality and leisure sectors. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging assignments, collaborating with architects, building services engineers and other professionals within the construction industry.
Key Duties for this Senior Structural Engineer role include:
Leading the structural design of projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
Liaison with clients, architects and contractors to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
Making site inspections and assessments to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Providing guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. Master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in structural engineering, including design, analysis, and team management.
Proficiency in structural analysis software such as Masterseries.
Proficiency in CAD ( AutoCAD or Revit) and Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
