An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solutions Sales Engineer t o join our team.
Achieving new solutions sales utilising the full extent of the Rolls-Royce PowerGen portfolio, with a primary focus on grid-scale BESS and microgrid solutions. Helping to develop Rolls-Royce into a full turnkey solutions provider with an emphasis on our customer’s requirements.

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. As a minimum we’re all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
Provide technical support to new and existing clients with a consultative approach.
Develop power solutions which meet the client’s technical needs whilst also considering the project budget.
Monitor, use and keep up-to-date the company CRM tool with all active leads and opportunities.
Demonstrate a good commercial understanding and achieve minimum profit margins on new sales.
Meet pre-determined and agreed sales targets.
Assist in achieving sales of Rolls-Royce service agreements alongside new product sales.
Conduct regular competitive analysis, in line with corporate guidelines, and feedback to peers and management.
Conduct project handovers from sales to operations team upon receipt of project award, including internal meetings and client handover meetings.
Develop and maintain internal relationships across the Rolls-Royce company, at business unit and power system levels.
Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

High level of commercial awareness.
Proven performance working under pressure and simultaneously delivering objectives to a high standard.
The ability to speak German is desirable but by no means essential.
Skilled at working with exchange rates, project costings sheets and Microsoft Office templates.
