About the Role:

As the Director of Software Engineering , you will be responsible for overseeing the development of the company’s AI-driven products, managing a growing team of engineers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that support the company's ambitious goals. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to define the tech strategy, and you will play a pivotal role in the company’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a talented software engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
  • Drive the technical vision and strategy for the AI product suite, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle , with a focus on delivering robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise and deliver on key product deliverables.
  • Ensure that engineering best practices are followed, and continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, encouraging growth and continuous learning within the team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within software engineering, ideally within AI, data science, or related fields.
  • Strong experience in Python and associated technologies.
  • A track record of building and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience driving technical deliverables , meeting deadlines, and managing resources effectively.
  • A strong interest in the sports industry and a passion for building AI-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
