Inside Construction have been appointed to recruit a Planner for a management/main contractor who partners with companies across the globe to provide sustainable projects. They work with clients in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, nuclear, power and aviation industries across the UK and offer a management service for new build, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Planner to support the planning and scheduling activities for small-scale EPCM projects based on site in Barnard Castle.
The Planner will work closely with project teams to develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and identify potential risks or delays.
Project Planning and Scheduling - Assist in developing project schedules for small EPCM projects, incorporating all relevant tasks, milestones, and dependencies.
* Schedule Monitoring and Reporting - Monitor project progress against established schedules, tracking actual performance and comparing it to planned timelines.
* Resource Allocation and Coordination - Coordinate with project teams to allocate resources effectively and ensure optimal utilisation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
* Risk Management and Contingency Planning - Identify potential schedule risks and uncertainties and assist in developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
* Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration - Serve as a point of contact for project planning and scheduling-related communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred; Previous experience in project planning, scheduling, or project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
* Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential schedule risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in project planning and scheduling.
