Templeton and Partners are on the look for an 'IP Tech Lead' to join one of our clients and leading organisation within the Telecoms space.

The main function of an IP Tech Lead is to supervise a scrum of Network Designers, Testers, and Fulfilment Engineers throughout the whole project life-cycle - from requirements gathering and analysis stages, through design, testing, delivery, and hand-over to network operations and service/network reliability teams.

Work closely and communicate proactively with Scrum Masters and Project Managers to plan project activities - daily, per sprint, as well as quarterly
• Provide resource and effort estimates to Resource Managers and Scrum Masters
• Work closely with a scrum of network engineers and supervise their work in order to ensure their deliverables follow the companies best practices
• Call-out risks, exceptions or deviations from standard processes (technical or project related) and present them to senior management
• Contribute in the design stage by providing valuable input and insights to Network Designers
• Contribute and provide insights to Fulfilment Engineers in writing MOPs and signing them off
• Contribute and provide insights to Test Engineers in writing test plans and signing them off
• Act as a point of escalation during project related issues or outages
• Previous work experience required in the telecommunications sector, preferably in a solutions design role
• Strong understanding about networking technologies, like routing, switching, security/firewalling, load-balancing, and QoS
