Are you an experienced Enterprise & Security Sales Specialist looking for your next move?

Intercity are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Enterprise Cyber Security Sales Specialist to join our dynamic Sales team. As an Enterprise Cyber Security Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the sales of Intercity’s Cyber Security services and solutions to SME & Enterprise businesses. Your primary goal will be to promote and sell our company's products and services, enabling organisations to enhance their security posture and decrease risk. This role requires a deep understanding of how Cyber Security services are delivered and the benefits they can bring, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients optimise their infrastructure and services.

As an Enterprise Cyber Security Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Drive the sales process from prospecting to deal closure by identifying business opportunities, engaging with potential customers, and presenting Intercity’s Cyber Security portfolio of products and solutions. Create, identify, and qualify selling opportunities by the preparation of high quality, accurate proposals and quotations for customers and conclude contracts in accordance with Intercity policies and procedures.
  • Deliver consistent and on-plan revenue through skilled pipeline management whilst maintaining an active 30-60-90-day sales pipeline. Consistently revise revenue projections and provide monthly updates and status reports on sales opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive an in-depth understanding of our company's Cyber Security offering, including but not limited to Public & Private cloud, managed firewall, SOC, SIEM, EDR, managed services and professional services. Articulate the value propositions and benefits to potential clients based on their unique business needs. Make recommendations and drive improvements to Intercity's propositions & services.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their communication challenges and goals. Recommend tailored solutions that align with their specific requirements, emphasising the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and productivity gains our products and services can deliver.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, IT decision-makers, and procurement teams. Cultivate long-term partnerships and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Set ambitious sales targets, develop strategic plans to achieve them, and consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and performance metrics.
  • Work closely with other sales team members, pre-sales, solution architects, and project managers to design and deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer requirements and expectations.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to showcase Intercity's solutions effectively.
  • Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to keep the management informed of progress and activities.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales process and beyond by providing ongoing support and addressing any post-sales concerns promptly.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • At least five years’ experience within a similar sales environment.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on Cyber Security services.
  • Strong understanding of a multitude of technologies and services.
  • Possess demonstrable experience of managing a complete sales cycle from opportunity creation to completing a sale within the B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
  • Be confident in conversing with and presenting to senior management and directors.
