To help us achieve this, we're looking for a Senior Pharmacovigilance Specialist to leadGlobal Pharmacovigilance activities to ensure safe use of Smith+Nephew products through the application of Good Pharmacovigilance Practices.

What will you be doing?
  • Coordinate pharmacovigilance activities ensuring compliance with regulations and company procedures.
  • Handle communication within the team and with affiliates regarding pharmacovigilance.
  • Maintain the Pharmacovigilance System Master File and coordinate updates.
  • Facilitate communication and activities between the Global Pharmacovigilance Centre and affiliates.
  • Lead pharmacovigilance system projects and reconcile monthly reports.
  • Participate in Medical Safety Review processes and lead all signal management activities.
  • Prepare and submit safety reports to Regulatory Authorities.
  • Provide training, support audit activities, and ensure clear communication of safety issues across the business.
What does success look like?

Our successful candidate will be educated in a relevant scientific field such as nursing, pharmacology, biology, toxicology etc. This will be paired with an extensive experience working in pharmacovigilance within a regulated environment.

You will be an expert of all relevant regulations, quality standards and legislation across a global scale relating to pharmaceutical and medical products and have experience undertaking Pharmacovigilance activities like creating safety reports, reviewing data in scientific documents and experience with audits and inspections.
