Children's Residential Support Worker

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join their team at a 4-bed children's home in Leiston, near the picturesque Suffolk Coast. Their home, rated 'Good' by Ofsted, supports children aged 9-17 with social, emotional, mental health, and behavioural difficulties. You will play a pivotal role in providing a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for their young residents, helping them to thrive and achieve their full potential.
Hours: 40 hours per week on a 6-week rolling rota
Shift Patterns:

61 per hour (depending on experience)
~ Sleep-ins paid at £45 per night

Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people with social, emotional, mental health, and behavioural difficulties.
Implement individualized care plans, supporting residents in their personal development and helping them achieve their goals.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Support with educational activities, both in and outside of school settings, fostering a positive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with the team, external professionals, and families to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Hold a Level 3 or 4 qualifications in Children and Young People or demonstrate a commitment to work towards this (course provided by the company).
Previous experience in a similar role or working with children and young people with complex needs is highly desirable.
A driving licence is desirable but not essential.
