We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join a reputable construction company as a Working Foreman for a 10-week project starting Monday If you possess SSSTS and First Aid qualifications and thrive in a leadership role, this position is tailored to your expertise

  • Supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Leading and managing a team of skilled tradespeople, subcontractors, and labourers, providing guidance and support to optimise productivity and workmanship.
  • Utilising your carpentry background to provide hands-on support and expertise in carpentry-related tasks when necessary.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Maintaining accurate records, including daily reports, progress updates, and site documentation.

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • Proven experience as a Working Foreman, with a background in carpentry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) qualification is essential.
  • First Aid certification is essential.
  • Solid knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering projects to the highest quality standards.
