Job Description:

CMC are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to work with our partner client, on a data centre project, based in Slough. The right candidate will be an experienced Commissioning Engineer that has worked on similar projects. This will be for an initial 12 months, on a rolling contract, based in Slough (on site).

Background/Skills:
  1. Develop and coordinate project specific quality plans.
  2. Responsible for the implementation and execution of a consistent Construction Quality Audit program.
  3. Develop and coordinate the Inspection and Test Plans from all contractors for all works packages.
  4. Manage quality benchmarking, first of kinds etc, to ensure agreed and approved standards of workmanship before commencement of each work package.
  5. Lead the project team in developing innovative approaches and solutions to enhance QA/QC attention and impact on the project.
  6. Provide training to project personnel on the project's QA/QC plan.
  7. Liase with the client and maintain satisfactory relations between client and STS in matters relating to construction QA/QC.
  8. Attendance at QA/QC relevant project meetings to ensure timely submission, approval, and implementation of the QMS and project turnover documentation.
  9. Custodian of construction quality on site.
  10. Provide expertise and guidance in relation to construction QA/QC for construction activities.
