Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Manager
Purpose of the role is to deliver and maintain an Operational Resilience framework throughout LME Group ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations. The Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Manager will coordinate all aspects of the operational resilience framework, including production and regular review of OR Policy; identify important business services that if disrupted could cause harm to consumers or market integrity, threaten the viability of firms or cause instability in the financial system; and, setting impact tolerances for each important business service, which quantify the maximum tolerable level of disruption they would tolerate.
The Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Manager will work with key stake holders throughout the firm to embed an Operational Resilience culture throughout all aspects of the operational running of the Exchange and Clearing House, and coordinating scenario testing to include severe but plausible disruption scenarios will also be an aspect to this role.
The Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Manager will have responsibility for all aspects of the business continuity management system. This will include reviewing the BC Policy and BC Plan and arranging annual approval at Board level. The Management System includes regular Business Impact Assessments (BIA); BC and DR Testing and Exercising for all strategies; working with critical 3rd parties to ensure appropriate level of business continuity to support LME services; ensuring compliance with BC international Standard ISO22301.
