Job description Role:- Employability Tutor Location:- Kirkcaldy & Fife Salary:- £24,500 Pro Rata Contract:- Sessional – 2 days a week (Ongoing) Role Overview Trigon recruitment are recruiting for a and Employability Tutor to work for a National Training Provider who are Grade 2 Ofsted. Role will include:-

  • Teaching to cohorts of 10 who are aged 50 plus
  • Delivering NON ACCREDITED TRAINING
  • Each course will last 4 weeks
  • Delivery is Monday to Thursday 9am to 1pm – followed by 1 hour of 121s
  • 2pm onwards is remote delivery from home
  • Friday is a home based admin day
  • Delivering basic IT – setting up email accounts, how to attach documents etc
  • Employability – creating CVS, cover letters, interview techniques
  • Actively supporting the learners to apply for roles
  • Delivering sessions around Cv preparation, interview techniques, job search, application forms and telephone techniques
Key skills and experience
  • IT literate
  • Training experience
  • Good employability skills
  • Able to use a company database
  • Able to produce CV and covering letters
  • Ability to teach varying levels of ability
  • Used to group facilitation
  • Able to set targets
  • Can facilitate one to one support
  • Excellent inter personal skills
  • Genuine desire to help people
  • Can be available for the duration of the contract (8 weeks minimum)
