Position: Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager covering Devon and Cornwall, you'll play a key role in driving the growth of Florence in the region. You'll be responsible for building relationships with social care providers, such as care homes, supported living services, and mental health organizations. Your goal will be to understand their staffing challenges and introduce them to Florence's technology, which can help them solve those challenges. We're looking for someone who is not only exceptional at sales but also friendly and empathetic, and is passionate about using technology to make life easier, ensuring that our customers feel supported and understood throughout the entire process.

Requirements
  1. Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role
  2. Strong understanding of the social care industry
  3. Passionate about using technology as a tool
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and empathetic approach
  5. Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  6. Experience with software platforms including customer relationship management (CRM) software
  7. Self-motivated and driven to succeed
  8. Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues
  9. Willingness to travel within the region and travel to London for team days
Responsibilities
  • Identify and reach out to potential customers through proactive sales efforts
  • Pitch Florence's technology solutions to social care providers
  • Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to address their challenges
  • Provide training and support to new customers to ensure successful onboarding on the Florence platform
  • Meet sales targets and generate revenue for Florence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Florence to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to identify new business opportunities
