Are you an Automotive Electronics Test Engineer, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer?
Do you have a passion for future vehicle development? We are seeking an Electronics Test Engineer with experience in Audio, HMI and Park Aid, to support the Electrical & Electronic (EE) Test team, on behalf of our globally successful Automotive OEM, based in Bedfordshire, on a contract basis.
Electronics Test Engineer responsibilities include:
# Validation of infotainment electrical systems, driver display systems and parking systems
# Creation of test plans to meet with project and design milestones
# Creation of testing procedures, confirmation of vehicle specification and test parts required for test
# Technical support to the production plant
# Background, skills and qualifications required for the Electronics Test Engineer position:
Experience in automotive electrical and electronic system development
Knowledge of electrical theory and the operation of electronic devices
Experience of software application into vehicle ECUs in a manufacturing environment
Ability to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans
Understand network communications and multiple bus principles ie CAN, LIN, Ethernet
Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections
Conversant with digital oscilloscopes and basic electrical test equipment
