Multiskilled Engineer

Shift times Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm
On call - 1 week in 3 with 24 hour flexibility required (£20 per day on call rota)
Joseph Ash Telford are currently looking for experienced multi-skilled maintenance engineers with a passion for ensuring safety and quality of systems is maintained throughout the site.
You will join the skilled team already in place at the galvanizing plant in Telford who look after all of the on-site automated and manual systems, meaning experience with both mechanical and electrical engineering is essential. 52 p/h - weekly paid
~1 in 3 on call rota with £20 per day plus 2 hour minimum call out fee

~ Completion of planned preventative maintenance routines associated with all plant and equipment to include mechanical and electrical repair and refurbishment.
Resolution of ad-hoc breakdowns (including night-time call-outs on a rotational basis).
Inspection and testing of equipment to ensure safe operation of the plant.
Supervision of visitors/contractors as required.
Supporting the business and production team as required.
Highly skilled and experienced in mechanical and electrical engineering with a recognised electrical qualification .
Experience of and working with planned preventative maintenance systems.
Some fabrication experience would be desirable but not essential.
Experience of complex electrical fault finding.
Experience of PLC systems (basic), motors, drives and electrical drawings would be beneficial.
