Project Manager- Heavy Steels

We are a leading player in the heavy steels industry, specialising in the production and supply of high-quality steel products for various sectors, including construction, infrastructure, and manufacturing. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.

As a Contracts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the contractual aspects of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management within the heavy steels or related industries, demonstrating a keen understanding of legal and commercial aspects of contracts.

Contract Review and Negotiation:

* Review and negotiate contracts to ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements.

* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and project teams, to optimize contract terms and conditions.

Risk Management:

* Identify potential risks in contracts and develop strategies to mitigate and manage those risks.

* Provide guidance on risk allocation and propose solutions to protect the company's interests.

Contract Compliance:

* Monitor contract compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

* Work closely with project managers to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and timelines.

Change Order Management:

* Handle change orders and variations to contracts, assessing their impact on project timelines and costs.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and ensure smooth project execution.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, or a related field.

* Strong understanding of contract law, risk management, and negotiation skills.
