Working with a leading FTSE 100 Multisite Retail/online business looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager

The role is very broad and would best suit someone who is not afraid of getting into the detail when required, but who is also able to step back and take a more commercial view.

Business partnering will be key to this role, you will have C suite partnership exposure with the CIO and COO.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference and bring experience with them to help deliver transformational change and influence the growth of the business.

You’ll be involved in…

  • broad role with end to end ownership on the Technology and Change P/L- good mix of commercial business partnering and process/control
  • the month end process by producing the P&L, analysing trends, key movements and provide commentary on material variances
  • the annual budget & five-year plan process for Technology to deliver a robust financial plan in line with company objectives
  • of monthly financial reports for the Technology P&L to be shared with C suite, ensuring accurate and timely period reporting against budget and a full understanding of the variances.
  • and review all aspects of the management reporting processes for the Technology function to ensure a robust and clean close in line with the reporting timetable
  • ownership of producing monthly and quarterly packs summarising financial performance across all business streams
  • performance indicators, highlighting trends and analysing causes of unexpected variance and making recommendations for improvement where appropriate
  • and advise on complex financial information. Ensuring information is understood, updated, and provided on time to drive business performance
  • and manage the yearly budgeting, monthly forecasting process and modelling tools to support strategic initiatives
  • other teams within and outside finance to create a great working environment and one that drives and recognizes high performance

Your background

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified or equivalent with significant years PQE
  • Worked in a fast paced multi-site remit
  • ***travel to UK sites required per month
  • Proven ability to influence at Senior and Board level
  • Someone that wants to make a difference
