To maintain and grow sales within your account portfolio and to increase the product basket sold within these accounts. To play a full and active part in Swagelok London's team-based sales model, assisting others with opportunities and requesting assistance if needed from the sales team, ensuring that the best person available is there to secure the opportunities. Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering/ONC/HNC.
· A minimum of 1-2 years sales experience.

Travel  - The job requires travel across the South East of the UK.

Ensure key accounts are targeted correctly and strategically.
Complete call reports for every sales call.
Increase account penetration by targeting opportunities and products.
Navigate customer websites for research and intelligence.
Prepare and plan telephone appointments with decision makers to optimise sales opportunities.

Sales Development
Ensure sales objectives, as directed by Sales Manager, are implemented and translated into activities.
Ensure all areas of your SOP's are maintained - sales and activity targets, territory and journey planning, call planning and preparation, existing, key account, prospective and new business development.
Develop and implement, with assistance from Sales Manager, territory planning to ensure economic coverage of territory and maximise face to face selling time.
Identify existing customer new opportunities for development and deployment.
Ensure your continuing development in product knowledge, technical knowledge, company knowledge, sales skills and attitudes.

Prepare for sales calls prior to visiting (correct samples and information, etc.).

Software
Excel - create and maintain spreadsheets.
CRM appointments and call reports.
Windows to enable operation of IT.
Crystal reports (open orders, invoiced orders, quotations, customer usage and sales reports).

Initial Training
The first 6 months in the role will consist of extensive training as part of the onboarding and induction program.
Training will take place both online (self-paced) and via live classes with additional training available depending on the local support or service.

Ongoing Training
After the onboarding process and induction has been completed, you will be expected to maintain your ongoing product knowledge and complete product training each quarter.
