Guggenheim Securities (“GS”) is seeking an experienced Associate to join its Lifesciences Investment Banking group located in London.
The Lifesciences team works with clients in the pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and tools and diagnostics sectors on a range of transactions including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, collaborations and licensing, capital raising, and other strategic transactions tailored to the unique needs of our clients.
GS offers a unique opportunity to work as part of small client teams on major strategic and financing assignments, providing meaningful exposure to senior bankers and client representatives.

We will provide best-in-class Investment Banking training—formal and hands-on—as you continue to develop your professional toolkit: M&A process management, business acumen, financial analysis, data analysis, soft-selling and presentation skills, professional communication (verbal, written and virtual), negotiations, and more. Lead day-to-day project management and oversee execution on a range of advisory and financing transactions
Prepare and contribute to delivery of client presentations and interact with senior bankers, clients, lawyers, and accountants
Assist in the design and development of complex financial models and valuation analysis
Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations to senior leadership
3-6 years of investment banking or equivalent M&A experience
~ Significant level of maturity and the ability to work as a team interfacing with top company executives and senior management
~ Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree
Currently, this role is expected to be in the London office at least 4 days per week.
