3S Northumbria, is a pioneering UK Space company, whose mission it is to keep space for everyone and ensure its long-term sustainability. Based in our Head Office in Alnwick, Northumberland and reporting to the Founder, this role is newly created and essential to the growth of our company.

Responsible for the day-to-day business support including accounts, office and business management and importantly to support the founder to ensure a solid foundation for rapid business expansion.

As the company expands, so will your growth and aspects of the role – this is an exciting, opportunity for the right individual, you could be experienced or a recent graduate starting out in your space/sustainability career. Moving into proposal development, forward planning and R&D support. 
 
A love of Space is essential and a passion for sustainability – we need to ensure the company is as sustainable as possible on earth to support space sustainability.

Planning and coordinating operating procedures and systems and devising new ways to streamline processes
· Coordinating the office on a day-to-day basis
· Supporting the development of financial goals and objectives
· Previous experience of working in a lead office role or an enthusiasm to step up
· With a sound knowledge or willingness to learn financial procedures such as purchase ledger, credit control and
payroll
· Confident experience in using Microsoft packages including Excel
· Ability to work and support a rapidly growing business in an agile and entrepreneurial way
