Literacy Across the Curriculum: Promote literacy across all subject areas, collaborating with colleagues to integrate literacy skills into their teaching and supporting students' literacy development beyond the English classroom. Cultural Awareness: Explore diverse cultural perspectives and voices within literature, encouraging students to develop empathy, tolerance, and an understanding of the world around them. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification with a specialization in English. Relevant degree in English literature, language, or related field. Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level is desirable. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English language and literature. Effective classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
