This is a great time to take a fixed term contract, with the permanent senior Compliance market as it is, and this one will tide you over until next year.
The key purpose of this role is to manage a small team responsible for delivering practical and clear guidance to the business on how to effectively meet new and existing regulatory requirements and proactively help the business to ensure it implements effective systems and controls in relation to these requirements.
You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that all relevant SMCR policies and procedures are reviewed in line with schedules review dates and the SMCR annual plan.
You’ll be an experienced Compliance professional with strong up-to-date knowledge of FCA regulations relevant to retail banking and/or mortgage markets. You will have a proven track record of successfully leading small teams and of managing senior stakeholder relationships.
The firm operates a hybrid working policy (3 days a week in the office, 2 days working from home) and this role is based in their Chatham office.
