Sheet Metal Workers Meridian are looking to take on Sheet Metal Workers on a state-of-the-art facility in the Wirral for a Top 10 UK M&E and Construction company. On site you will be constructing and welding materials used on leading UK sites such as Hinkley Point. Duties: As a Sheet Metal Worker on this facility you will be: Fully fabricating bespoke high-integrity Ductwork components, manufactured from Stainless and Mild Steel sheet thickness (2 to 3mm thick) Manualy and precisely marking out pre-cut (Guillotine/laser) sections of ductwork including Straight’s radius bends, square to rounds, tapers etc. Assissting Welders with QC1 Stainless steel and mild steel Ductwork and high integrity HVAC products Understanding of isometric drawing, manufacturing tolerances, Welding procedures Understanding and implementation of Inspection and Testing of materials and fabricated productsRates: Sheet Metal Workers rates are in line with BESA.
