About the Firm

On behalf of a leading North East law firm, we are seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their team. The firm has a strong regional and national client base, including prominent business names, and has received multiple awards.


The Role

We are looking for an Employment Lawyer with at least 1years of post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and drafting skills, and the confidence to handle complex cases. A strong interest in business development is also essential.


Responsibilities:

  • Advise and represent both employer and employee clients on a range of employment law issues including disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy, discrimination, whistleblowing, TUPE, tribunal litigation, and settlement agreements.
  • Provide training and seminars on employment law topics.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate team on employment documents related to sale/acquisition transactions.
  • Promote and advise under the firm’s monthly retainer scheme for commercial clients.
