Currie & Brown is looking for a senior quantity surveyor for our established and growing Dublin team to work on a wide variety of Data Centre sector projects. The successful candidate will support project leaders in generating a high standard of day-to-day service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider. This role can be based anywhere in the UK, supporting the Dublin team, with travel to Dublin when required.

Assisting in tendering procedures and contract arrangements
Commercial evaluation of all tender submissions
Perform all aspects of procurement, including managing the pre-qualification stage, produce bid list, bid analysis, produce bid report, and compile contractual documents.
Valuing progress on site for interim certificates
Validating contractors' final account
negotiate and approve final accounts.
Strong experience dealing with M&E systems across high tech, pharma or DC projects or experience with healthcare / public works contracts
Experience managing estimating and cost planning activities, including ownership and presentation of the final cost plan for projects throughout the design phase and delivering updated cost plans at appropriate design milestones.
Ability to conduct reviews of GMP contracts with general contractors.
Experience with negotiations with mechanical & electrical subcontractors on behalf of the client to drive fair contract prices.
Ability to lead commercial meetings.
Experience in 2D and BIM take off for mechanical and electrical systems critical to Data Centre construction.
Firm grasp on quality assurance & quality control.
Second European Language considered an added benefit.
